I started my blog in 2004. The first place is in Blogdriver.com and actually I still mantain this one now. However, the service of that website is always in trouble.
Blogdriver.com was bought by BlogChina.com in 2005. There is no sign that BlogChina.com will develop a further version of Blogdriver.com. And the manteinance of BlogDriver is also in a poor condition. Besides, BlogDriver isn't a hot place for bloggers. Perhpas later it will be shut down.
According to these problems, I am seeking a place to host my blogs. I mantain a mirror blog on Baidu.com but that place is not my favor since it obviously lacks some major features like html editing and javascript embed. Additionally, some famous places like Sina.Com or BlogChina.com are not my favourites because I like a simple place but with strong performence and function.
Sometime I guess that MSN Spaces is a good place but actually many people suffer the bad connection of Spaces in China.
This time, Google won. The Blogspot.com is simple and clear but indeed functional. I can add old articles with old date stamp. This feature is quite important for me so I can migrate old ones into my new blog and it seems pretty nice.
I like this place.
